Clemson has various residency options for students, both on- and off-campus. Freshmen are mainly housed in residence halls, upperclassman mainly reside in apartments, and sororities and fraternities are either in Smith and Barnett residence hall or in Fraternity/Sorority Housing on the quad.

- The apartment units have kitchenettes.
- There are laundry facilities located on the lower level.
- The rooms are carpeted, and microwaves can be used in the apartment units only.
- The nearest dining hall is located on the first floor.
- Clemson House also has a barber shop, meeting rooms and a ballroom.

I learned how to make things interesting and get creative in the dining halls. Also, Clemson offers other food courts that I now go to occassionally for a sandwhich, soup, salad, or fruit!" (Baum).
